Passports? Check.

We just got back from taking care of the girls' passports and mailing mine in. In another week or two, we should have them back in our hot little hands.

We had to redo the girls' photos, because the guy at Walgreens sized them too small. Mine was juuuuuust big enough, but I'm a little worried that my renewal application will end up in the hands of someone having a bad day and they will send it back to me.

The next thing to deal with will be immunizations. The girls are all up to date, but there are a couple they will still need to get. I have no idea what my status is. I have no paperwork to prove I've had any of them, so I don't know how that's going to work.

When I started school at Purdue, I had to have proof of immunization that I didn't have anywhere. Luckily I remembered that I also had to have proof when I started at Smith, and they had kept it on record. I sent in a request and they sent me a copy of proof of immunization. However, I remember at the time that I had barely met some sort of cut off date, but I can't remember what it was. Anyway, you might check there.

Two people have told me to try this, and it is a great idea I never thought of. However, I think that by the time I went to Smith, my pediatrician had already retired, so my mom and I just signed some form saying we promise I had everything and my new doctor signed off on that, and everyone called it good. From what I understand, the immunization place will be able to tell what I have had from when I was born and where I went to school.
I know I'll need a booster, but I'm hoping I've had my Hepatitis shots, because I really, really don't want any more than I have to!
